Christmas Cheer

Just getting back from the Christmas visiting, it’s going to take a few minutes - or days - to catch up. But it didn’t take long to find this story. I’m glad now I didn’t have any reasonable access to the internet over the holidays. This would have made Christmas a little gummy.

Seems as though too much of a good thing still makes the left side of the boat want to drown the right. A 6-year old girl sang a song for her brother in Iraq, written by their mother - at a church service. It’s a song about missing her brother at Christmas. The family posted it on You-Tube for her brother to see. He loved it. The left wing absolutely hate it - they went way over the deep end. I mean they really got ugly. From a post at the Townhall Blog by Mary Catherine Ham -

It’s a non-political song. I thought it was a pretty sweet look at one family’s pain and faith and bravery in the face of war, and it left the heavy-handed political overtones for another day. I was also glad to see it out front, considering YouTube front-paged the Littlest Moonbat a couple of weeks ago (if you haven’t seen that one, go watch).

But a non-political, sentimental song about the Iraq War isn’t enough for the moonbat commenters at YouTube. Heather Martin and her parents have a moral duty to go all Cindy Sheehan on Bushitler’s War for Profit or they and their loved ones are accessories to BushCo’s murderous ways. Think the commenters would go easy on her just because she’s 6 and it’s Christmas? Think again (apologies in advance for the language). These were the first three comments on her YouTube video:

This is the pretty part. You ought to go read this post. This from the same folks that think they can say “I support the Troops but not the war.” Diggs at 4 Mile Creek runs with this and also references the same link to Mary Catherine Ham’s article.

You would think that since they got the Legislature they left side moonbats might be a little happier. Obviously that ain’t happening.
