Gathering of Eagles - Part 2
This post is to cover some of the other blogs who have stories up about the Gathering of Eagles.
One of the better posts is from Conservative Propaganda by Tantor. It’s a four-part post so catch all of it. He went to the moonbat side to get more pictures of their activities. He had more stomach for that than I did. In Part 4, there’s some pics of one of the moonbats taking a GOE poster away from someone and then ripping her American flag apart. That’ll get your blood pressure up.
Uncle Jimbo at Blackfive has a nice post up (actually, several) that makes a good point about one particular item from a commenter - the trash. Several in our group noticed the same thing.
Another thing I noticed. The hippie, anti-war, love-mother-earth, peta, answer, code pinkos group left litter and trash everywhere. When they left, their AO was TRASHED!! On the other hand, the GoE people conducted a police-call and left their area clean. How ironic is that?
Michelle Malkin has a great post and a must see video at her site.
Media Lies has some good points about the lack of media coverage.
A Soldiers Perspective has a good post up. Here’s Part two. He also notes the lack of media coverage on the GOE side - even has a picture of the FOX News truck sitting idly next to the vacant lot where none of the protesters were while the GOE group had a field full of supporters - and flags.

And of course you’ll want to check out Old War Dogs - the guys that brought you the Gathering of Eagles.
And here’s a great link to an interview with Michelle Malkin on Bill O’Reilly talking about the GOE.
Here’s a link so you can view the photos I took.
I’ll make a post about the ride over later.

Thanks for linking to my post about the March on the Pentagon and the nice words. Glad you liked it.

Thoroughly enjoyed your photos. I keep finding more links to more blogs & pics. Just so very pleased with the success of the GOE!! I’m gonna have to figure out a way to go next time.
I’d just leave those Christmas lights up there if I were you - you might need them on the 4th of July or sometime.
